Match the programme to the organisation
The Sustainability Reporting Grant supports eligible Singapore-incorporated companies preparing their first sustainability report with ISSB-based climate disclosures before mandatory compliance. Enterprise Singapore states support of up to 30% of qualifying costs, capped at S$150,000, subject to eligibility and programme conditions.
The SME Sustainability Reporting Programme supports eligible local non-listed SMEs developing a first report using GRI and TCFD-based approaches. Enterprise Singapore currently states support of up to 70% of package fees for applications within the programme period.
Check eligibility before the project starts
- Confirm incorporation, ownership, revenue, employment and reporting-history tests.
- Confirm the organisation has not reached the relevant mandatory compliance date.
- Identify the correct applicant entity; group applications may not be accepted.
- Do not commence work, pay a provider or sign the relevant contract before approval where the programme prohibits retrospective applications.
- Check current application and reporting-period deadlines directly with the administering agency.
Scope deliverables that survive the first report
- Approved reporting and GHG boundaries.
- Disclosure matrix and method papers.
- KPI dictionary, source records and review controls.
- Climate governance, risks, opportunities and scenario evidence.
- Management actions, targets and financial-planning links.
- Training, handover files and responsibilities for the next cycle.
Prepare a grant-ready brief and quotation
Describe the reporting trigger, financial year, entities, current maturity, expected standards and intended deliverables. Ask providers to separate consultancy, assurance, software and training costs, identify the named team, state assumptions and exclusions, and explain how acceptance will be evidenced.
Manage the claim and evidence trail
Retain approval letters, contracts, invoices, proof of payment, attendance records, deliverables and evidence that programme outcomes were achieved. Assign an internal owner for grant conditions and claim deadlines rather than leaving administration solely to the consultant.
